When massaging kale was introduced to me well over a decade ago, I was not only skeptical but very anti, even though I had never tried a side-by-side (why are we like this sometimes?). But now in my old age, I am wise enough to admit I was wrong. I had a kale salad the other day at a restaurant — golden raisins, almonds, pecorino, ugh so good — and the kale was so tender and soft, and I actually said out loud, "wow, this kale was definitely massaged!" ANYWAY. Thank you for the tutorial. You're the best. <3

There is something very very satisfying about kale. I believe it’s the robust nature of the leaves. It feels substantial. And that salad sounds incredible. I would never have thought a kale massage tutorial was needed but hey, it doesn’t hurt! Thanks for sharing your thoughts Ariel. 💕

Kale is my favorite vegetable! And dressed with lemon, olive oil, salt and maple syrup the whole family will happily eat a big pile. 💚

It’s a perfect Christmas lunch salad. Add some thinly sliced cumquats too, would add a nice hit of tartness. I have a deep affection for cumquats. My mother grows them in her garden. Happy holidays!
