A huge thank you to Harry Tannenbaum, the cofounder of MILL, for joining me today to talk about food waste and how we can all do our bit to eat more and waste less.

A recap on the stats that Harry shared:

· Households are the #1 contributor to food in landfills (ReFED),

· When food ends up in landfill, it creates methane, 80x more potent than CO2

· Less than 4% of wasted food from homes is composted (EPA 2023)

· Over 1/3 of the food we produce in the US is never eaten
